4 Yes Volunteers needed
Demonstrate hand eye coordination with racquets and balls. Feed balls to children for given drills. Volunteers do not need to be tennis players, though a knowledge of tennis would help. About our club
A small tennis club with 5 senior and 3 junior Southport league teams. We have run an after school junior tennis sessions for children aged 4 to 16yrs for over 20 years. Sessions run Friday afternoons 4.30 to 5.30 April to September. We supply racquets and balls and use of 4 courts. For the first time ever we have not been able to recruit enough volunteers from among our members to go on court to run the sessions. The children come from local primary schools. We may have to stop the sessions because of shortfall in volunteers. HELP please. I am a club member with no official role but have been involved with these sessions for over 10years. The numbers attending can vary from 10 to >30children per session.
No upcoming events. The club is situated within Ainsdale Village Park and we join in when they have "fun in the park" days.
