Volunteers are the lifeblood of our club, as the club isrun exclusively by volunteers who dedicate their own free time

If you would like to take on a new challenge, get the opportunity to meet new people and become part of your community, we can offer you in return, a sense of Well-being, help you with your personal development and above all have fun!

If you believe you have certain skills or talents that you would like to put to use, for example - administrative skills, photographic abilities or IT skills or perhaps you can help us out with small things like changing tyres on the sports wheelchairs. Please contact us

About our club

The Thames Valley Kings are a wheelchair basketball club based in Berkshire .As Berkshire's oldest competitive wheelchair basketball club, we host regular Training session and are part of British Wheelchair Basketball Junior and National leagues. we are based at Kennet Leisure Centre, Thatcham, Berkshire. The club is 100% volunteer run and has been recognised by the club being award The Queens Award for Voluntary service. Thames Valley Kings also has club mark Silver award

Started in 2004 by Head Coach and Founder, Jacqueline Scoins-Cass MBE, The club provides an opportunity for those with and without Physical disabilities within the Thames Valley area to participate in a great team sport within a fun and friendly environment.
