Why Join In?
Do you rely on volunteers at your sports club? Could you use a few extra pairs of hands?
Join In helps community sports clubs and groups to find more volunteers and supporters in their local area. We think that local sports clubs are the heart of our communities – but we know that local sport doesn't just happen.
It takes teams of brilliant, generous people to share their time and skills, and give something back. Together, you help to make our communities happier, healthier and more active places to live. And Join In wants to spread that message.
Why Join In?
It's the big one. Visitors to the Join In website search by postcode for clubs in their area that need a hand. Don't miss out on reaching potential volunteers near you.
Free and easy
It is completely free for all clubs and groups to be part of Join In. We know you’re busy; that’s why it’s quick and simple to create a club page. And you can edit your details any time you like.
All Join In events will benefit from national marketing, PR and social media campaigns – ensuring that as many people know about your club as possible.
The aim of Join In is to support local sports clubs and activity groups – so we won’t fill your inbox with unwanted emails and will only be in touch when we have useful information.
Our regional coordinators (called Local Leaders) are the face of Join In on the ground. If you want to attract new volunteers – for example, by hosting an event – they'd love to hear from you.
Tools and tips
We'll soon be adding lots more helpful information for clubs on the Join In website, including tips on completing your club page and examples of clubs who have successfully found volunteers through the site.
